I would like a Visual Condition Report

A visual condition report will include the results of a visual inspection of the electrical installation and does not include any testing so the inspection is not likely to find hidden damage to concealed cabling or joints.  Usually, a visual inspection report is only suitable if the installation has been tested in the last couple of years, and the results were reported (on an electrical installation certificate or an electrical installation condition report) as being satisfactory.

The cost for a Visual Condition Report is £65 + VAT

I would like a full inspection and test of my electrical installation (Electrical installation condition report)

An Electrical Installation Condition Report will include the results of a visual inspection and the results of testing all circuits in the property. This will give you more information about the condition of the installation and in particular any damage to hidden cables or joints. Every domestic property should be fully inspected and tested every 10 years as a minimum, a label on your fuse board should tell you when this was last done.

The cost of an Electrical Installation Condition Report is £150 + VAT for the first 6 circuits then £15 + VAT for each additional circuit.  To see how many circuits you have, add up the number of circuit breakers in your fuse board.
